Gilt bronze, 1 ¼” width of elongated cruciform with bifurcated tips. Concentric circle motif, probably alluding to the Wheel of Fortune, with a raided central circle, originally with enamel inlay. A woman’s brooch worn as jewelry and not intended as a garment pin (fibula). Original cross pin intact and functional. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Rare.
