Second half of the 11th century, during which Christian churches were constructed in Viking territories leading, to blended mythology before conversion. Just under 7/8” (0.84”) width in the fully evolved (cusped) heart form enclosing a central figure which may be a cross with lunar crescent for the cross beam. Vikings used Christian symbol for decoration long before embracing the religion. Alternatively, this may be a bird. Ravens were sacred to Oden and of course, gulls were always important to Vikings as they indicated the proximity to land. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver surface restored on a Sterling silver 18” neck chain for modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
