Gilt bronze, size 10 ¾ with rectangular bezel with bordered IHS in perfunctory ciphers. 2.8mm rounded face band flaring to the shoulders. Dating to the period of universal conversion pursuant to the edict of Charlemagne in 800. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
