19th century. Large example, 17 ¼” length. All iron with broad thickened point blade which separates upon squeezing the grips to reveal a concealed blade within. Mechanically sound and functions well. Decorated in silver koftgari animal figures in foliage and stylized foliage throughout. The decoration very strong on the blades and weaker but sound on the hilt.
