Under ¾” (0.72”) plus the suspension loop. Heart form with horned cusp. The sides with graduated pelleted borders. The field with a heart enclosing an elaborate trefoil combining two primary symbols in Viking culture. Two hearts in one! The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
