During the Renaissance, ladies of position and noble class wore these dress rings to distinguish them from commoners. This example is size 9 1/4 with a double stepped oval bezel enclosing a floral splay. 2.9mm band flaring to the foliate decorated shoulders. It has been professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and is gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
