Recovered in Poland. Celtic, la Tene culture who settled in Poland about 400 BC. Bronze, about 1 ¾” (1.70”) length of elegant form. Elongated conical with spear shaped side fins and curved barb to the base of the socket. See European Arrowheads, and Crossbow Bolts, Rau, p.45 for another example and the author’s explanation that these were based on the Scythian model and copied throughout Europe. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored on an 18” silver mounted polished leather neck cord for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
