Forged iron, 8 7/8” length. Wedge section blade with acutely angled point in the Viking scramasax style. Integral tapered tang with three holed for the attachment of scale grips. Excellent stable excavated condition. After conversion to Christianity in the 11th century, Vikings served with distinction in the Crusades. This knife was likely carried by a Norse/Scandinavian crusader of Viking descent. With Plexiglas display mount and certificate of authenticity.
