Classic form. See A Glossary of the Construction, Decoration and Use of Arms and Armor, Stone, 396, #22. 8” broad medially ridged double edged blade. Blind stitched hide enclosed hilt in traditional; form with white metal mounts. The blade is quite crisp with patches of pitting along the edges. Probably the 19th century. Classic for its period.
