Alaska Gold Rush relics, comprising an iron ore train coupler, 8 1/4 with off set eye and internal lock channel bearing two collection labels from the 80s Narrow gauge train coupling gold ore cars and 8/17/82 N.C. ore car train coupling last chance gold mine Juneau, Alaska. Plus gold mine train track comprising the original hewn oak tie with two lengths of narrow gauge rails, 18 3/4" on center. The rails cut to about 10" length and secured with the original spikes which are smaller then regular railroad spikes, but otherwise identical. The rails loose from shrinkage of the tie. Tie surface and sides dry with fine character. The underside with some deterioration from the wet mine floor. Plus a segment 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" of grate plate dredge #4 Banaza cr. (Bonanza Creek) Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada so labeled and dated 8/2/80. Three item group suitable for museum display.
