Type popular around 1700 and this example probably dating to the early 18th century. 7 1/2" length. Thin section for convenience in the bag and oval brass over wood base secured with iron pins. The spout with two notches to engage the muzzle edge. European style carried to the New World, particularly by Germans in Pennsylvania.
