17TH CENTURY ENGLISH FOLDING KNIFE

$225.00

Fine quality example dating to the golden age of piracy and just the kind a pirate would carry. 4 5/8” overall with finely detailed frame alternating raised roped and banded panels with bone scale segments (one partially intact).  Dramatically angles point blade of thin fighting section. This is a weapon, not a working knife, made for slashing. The blade, now frozen in the frame, retains about half of its original surface on one side.
